can i put 32t cassette on this bike it is rear derailleur long cage?

      Response of the brand

      Hello,
Thank you for your question. The simple answer is yes you can. You will require a new chain which needs to be longer than the one supplied. A 9 speed chain costs £9.99: https://www.decathlon.co.uk/9-speed-bike-chain-id_8203903.html

why new chain?this bike has already 9 speed chain..also can i put 32c tires on these wheels.thank you
      Response of the brand
You will require a longer chain as the largest sprocket rear cassette has 32t instead of 25t. If you don't do so, shifting will become an issue. The chain width is of course correct (9s).
Yes, in the vast majority of cases, a 32mm tyre will fit.

    • Tremendous Triban 520 FB Road Bike!

Purchased this after reading lots of reviews on both this and the drop bar version. Bike arrived in just 24 hours of ordering online and required very little assembly. I did have to do a fair amount of 'tweaking' in order to get the brakes and gears just right, but this is as much about preference as it is about functionality - everything worked out of the box, but was only around 80% as good as it was after a hour or so of fine tuning. Now running it on 32c tyres for ultimate comfort and will be using it next month for a 200 mile touring ride.

What accessory do I need to buy to allow to raise the handle bars? I would like to make the handle bars higher for improved comfort for my bad back
      Response of the brand
      Hello,
Thank you for your question regarding the rider position on this bike. Unfortunately
There is a variety of boxes to tick before looking at the height of the bars. Before any change is offered it is vital to double check that the saddle height is correct as well as the saddle distance from the stem. Once this is done, the stem length may need to be altered and a replacement stem fitted. Your bike has a 100mm stem. Shortening the stem to say 60mm will neutralise the riding position a little more meaning you will not lean as much over the front of the bike putting less strain on your back. The slight downside is that your position on the saddle will change. This leads me to the final part: As it isn't a female specific bike, the saddle is unisex. It may also be worth investigating replacing it for a female specific version such as this one: https://www.decathlon.co.uk/500-womens-sport-bike-saddle-id_8351321.html
If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to get back in touch.
