    • Worst purchase ever

I bought a B'TWIN TILT 100 folding bike 2 months ago... My advice: don't buy it! Worst purchase ever! And poor customer service: when I bought the bike, the team hadn't checked the tyres' pressure so I had to take care of it and inflate the tyres once at home ; the saddle was not properly fitted so even though I could use the bike, the saddle got damaged because of this... I use the bike every day in London and the chain comes off at least 3 or 4 times a day! I took it back to the store but they told me they could not do anything about the saddle nor about the chain... in short, the bike is not reliable (and even dangerous, so I got rid of it... just 2 months after I bought it), it's very disappointing and the Decathlon team wasn't helpful before/after the purchase!

    • Seat post wont go down or continually swivels

      jake (United Kingdom)
Used for More than 1 year
For 129£, I wasnt expecting too much, however I am a little concerned about the safety of the seat as mine continually swivel when in the up position and then I have such difficulty getting it down I often can't. I keep inside when at home but the sadlle post has done its best to rust on the few occasions I have been out in the rain. Annoying feature, is that when the bike is folded it does not stand up like in the video and simply keels over. The rubber strap also rarely stays fastened if your trying to carry the bike which is very clumsy. If I had the money I would have bought a brompton. I would be interested what decathlon had to say about my experience especially as I have had these problems from the day 1
