    • Great stove

      Kenneth (United Kingdom)
Used for More than 2 years
I bought my stove about 5 years ago and have used it for about 6 weeks per year while bike touring and I have recently started using it to roast coffee outside at home. The fact that it fits both screw and smooth nozzles is certainly handy. I have never had a problem locating canisters in Europe but I have outside of large cities in China. I always remove the canister from the stove before storing it in my sack and have never had a single problem with it.
    • Unreliable

      Olga (United Kingdom)
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
We bought it in Portugal Decathlon (order ID 1700084 in CASCAIS) and the stove was OK for that trip - 10 days. During our subsequent trip to Spain the valve became too loose (I guess the carving that allows the stove to be screwed to the valve are made of too soft metal) so the stove could no longer be attached to the gas cartridge. This happened when we were out in the wild, so we'll now think twice before purchasing anything essential for wild travelling in Decathlon.
      Response of the brand
Thanks for your feedback on the Mimer Duo camp stove and we apologise for the delay in responding to your post. I regret to hear that you have not been completely satisfied with the stove and will pass on your comments to the Quechua team to discuss with the external supplier Primus. If you still have the stove and cartridge, please drop into your local store where we can find the best solution for you. Chris Allen UK Market Manager DECATHLON
    • Not a good fit for valve cartridge

      Chris (United Kingdom)
Used for 1 week or less
It's lightweight and reasonably compact, needs a bag with it as the valve attachment unscrews from the stove and easily misplaced. When attaching to a valve cartridge it leaked quite badly, wasting gas and nearly causing a freeze burn. Not tried it with the screw cartridge. The stove also did not sit squarely on the cartridge when fitted.
      Light weight and fairly compact.
