    4. 5Cr15 stainless steel
Our engineers have chosen 5Cr15 stainless steel for this knife for 3 reasons: - the steel is hard enough to keep an edge for a good length of time, such as for cutting branches or processing big game for a couple of hours. - the steel is "soft" enough for ease of sharpening thanks to a hardness of around 56 HRC, which enables you to maintain the edge with a few strokes on a sharpening device - the steel offers good resistance to corrosion thanks to its chemical composition.
    Product testing
    1. Composition
Blade : 100.0% Stainless steel Handle : 100.0% Rubber - Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR)
    2. Product catchline
Durable fixed blade knife with 13cm stainless steel blade. The synthetic rubber handle gives it excellent grip and good cutting precision. Perfect for hunting and bushcraft.

    • Fixed blade knife

      S (India)
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
      Pros: Good ergonomics.
      Good blade geometry
      Good Grip
      Excellent Sheath

Cons: The Worst thing about this knife is its metal. It is made of stainless steel and not carbon steel.

Stainless steel retains edge for a longer time, but is practically impossible to sharpen in the field. That is why most outdoor knives are made of carbon steel.

The carbon steel most widely used for knives is 1095.

      2) The thickness of the knife is not sufficient enough to give the user the confidence to use this as a survival knife, i.e., to baton wood.

These two aspects, most importantly, the type of steel used in this knife, is its greatest drawback.
