    Product feature
    1. Frame
Made out of aluminium for a lightweight frame. The Aheadset stem makes maintenance easy and makes the frame more sturdy for riding on any kind of terrain. Its rear S-bend stays optimise braking performance and make it easier to get through mud.
    2. Suspension
Suspension fork cushions vibrations while riding on rough terrain. More comfort!
    3. Drivetrain
Change gears (24 speeds) using grip shifters (on the handlebar).
    4. Brakes
Mechanical front and rear disc brakes for powerful, precise braking. Braking power is not affected by mud or bumps.
    5. Handlebar / stem / steering
Suspension fork dampens vibrations on rough terrain for added comfort and better control. The Aheadset stem provides additional safety during all-terrain cycling.
    6. Wheels / tyres
Stronger, double-wall rims give the bike a resolutely sporty look.

    • Fantastic bike for the price

I bought this bike for my 9 year old sons birthday. It's a cracking bike for the price. He loves it as is easy to change the gears and light enough for him to pick up being made from a 6061 frame.

    • Good at the price point but has flaws.

Purchased today for my 8 year old son who is a strong rider.
As mentioned in earlier reviews the reach for the gear change on the shifters is huge.... too large for small hands , as is the reach of the brake levers. this will changed eventually by a move to hydraulic brakes with a variable pull.

The bike is a good £100 cheaper than it nearest rival but the thing that really lets it down is the graphics which are just a cheap vinyl sticker which is already peeling before the first ride...It would have been nice to see a clearcoat over the top to protect them. pedals are chap and nasty ad creak and will be replaced with an alloy alternative..

On the whole ok but as the flagship childs bike you can see where corners have been cut.
    • Best choice of gear shift?

      Iain (United Kingdom)
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Lovely bike. Only questionable thing is the gear shift chosen by the manufacturer. Both up and down require a thumb push which is great, but the upshift is too far away for an 8 year olds thumb. Needs considering in design stage. It will be grown into so not a major problem, but slight lack of attention to detail on part of btwin here.
