    Product feature
    1. A word from the product manager
"We designed this boot to offer you a good compromise between comfort and easy tightening. The 2017-2018 improvements include: - the quick-tightening system focuses on the instep for better support and a rip-tab is added at shin-level to eliminate the gap between the shins and the tongue; - wider fit for good support and comfort for all; - very lightweight, cushioning, insulating EVA sole (80% air) that protects from cold ground."
    2. Explanation of the name
Mount Foraker is the 2nd highest mountain in Alaska. It rises to 5,304 m and is located in the Denali National Park. We named our men's boots after it, indicating the different levels with the numbers 300, 500 and 700, corresponding to how well they support the foot. Indeed, the faster you go, the greater the pressure applied to the board through your boot: foot retention in the boot reduces unwanted foot movements.
    3. Fast Lock 2-zone tightening system
"The Foraker 300 easy-tightening system emerged from the following comment made by a snowboard instructor: "we need to get rid of standard laces that have to be tied, I spend too much time doing up my clients' laces at the start of my lessons". This winter, we improved this situation by adding a rip-tab at the shin for superior fastening. 1. Quick effective tightening focused on the instep, to support the foot. 2. A rip-tab at the shin to eliminate any play between the shin and the tongue."
    4. Boot flex/stiffness
The introduction of the soft flex was a deliberate decision. It is comfortable to use, reduces physical fatigue and allows you to fully enjoy your day on the snow. It also has the benefit of helping beginners adopt a good position on their board: flexed ankles to avoid straightening the legs. In order to react quickly when snowboarding, you need to bend the knees. Starting with a boot that's too stiff will hinder your progress. Please note: the cold and bindings make the boot more rigid.
    5. Heel support: level 1 liner
"Foot support is essential when snowboarding in order to correctly steer your board. The foot must be properly secured in the liner, and the liner properly secured in the boot. The level 1 liner uses the following 5 technologies: - thermoformable liner alone, at home, - comfort heel pad ankle foam, - 3-point liner fastening, - hook & loop link between the liner and boot, - double foam: double layer of foam at the tongue on the instep, for support and comfort."
    6. Autonomous liner thermoforming
      - Heat up your oven in convection mode to 80 °C - Remove the insoles from the liners and lay the liners on the tray of the oven lined with greaseproof paper - Leave for 15 minutes - Replace the sockliners, put on a pair of ski-snowboard socks, step into the liners and tighten them at your convenience. Then put on the snowboard boots and tighten them - Wait for 15 minutes, without moving, preferably in an upright position It is possible to repeat this operation.
    7. Comfort heel pad ankle foam
"The ankle foam fills the space below and behind the ankle to secure the heel in place. The level 1 liner has a 10-mm thick single-material ankle foam that is quite soft. The aim is to provide the right heel/foot support for the type of boot. This is because the faster you go, the more energy is involved and the more foot support you need. The Comfort Foam padding fulfils this objective by providing optimum comfort for everyone.
    8. 3-point liner fastening
"3-point tightening (instead of the 4-point system) offers 2 major advantages: - support: it blocks the heel very effectively because there is less friction with the laces and a maximum amount of energy is transferred to the 3rd and final tightening point, situated at the ankle, thereby providing optimum support. - warmth: given that there is no 4th tightening point at the instep, the blood flows more easily to the toes. This keeps your toes warm."
    9. Hook & loop link between the liner and boot
"We've added a rip-tab between the liner and the boot, at the back. What for? To help prevent the liner from slipping inside the boot, so it's easier to steer the board."
    10. Sole: grip, foothold, cushioning and thermal insulation
Our new Ultralight sole is 100% EVA. EVA is a very light material (80% air). This composition is designed to resist abrasion without compromising its cushioning properties. It has natural insulating properties and protects from the cold coming up from the ground. We have added big lugs for excellent grip. They are spaced relatively far apart for easy removal of snow.

    2. Storage advice
At the end of the day, remove the liner from the boot to air it and speed up drying. Also, remove the inner sole of the liner to dry fully overnight.
    3. Product catchline
