Product feature
  1. A word from the product manager
    If you only needed one...
  2. Programme / Terrain
The Park & Ride is true to its name, it is as good in parks, on and off piste. In parks it is particularly suited to jumps (ramps) and you can trust it on take off and landing. The standard camber provides pop for jumps and stability at full speed. The rocker provides manageability, as well as buoyancy in the case of powdery snow. Its POWDER STANCE will enable you to enjoy powder snow like with a freeride board.
  3. TWIN TIP Snowboard
A TWIN TIP shaped snowboard = the front and back board sidecuts are completely symmetrical, providing symmetry and perfect centring, board features allowing you to snowboard both ways in the same way. The Twin Tip shape also provides total balance when turning (on the ground, in the air).
  4. Rocker CAMBER + Classic + Rocker
All the advantages of the standard camber (thanks to the elasticity of the board, the standard camber which serves as a spring to provide grip on all types of snow, the edge to edge dynamism and the recoil when coming out of turns), as well as those of the rocker (under constraints, the board points of contact with the snow come together, and the board is more manageable). The rocker elongates and raises the nose so that it can glide better over powder.
  5. Medium, Versatile FLEX
The flex (stiffness of the board between front and rear) of the Carve is about 3/5, i.e. medium and versatile. It offers predictable handling when cutting corners and is forgiving of edge mistakes.
  6. Medium and Versatile TORSION
The torsion (torsional stiffness of the board between the feet) is about 3/5, which is: _ fairly stiff for good hold in the curves, recovery coming out of a turn and responsive edge transition. _ flexible enough to enjoy a bit of freestyle. Its medium torsion provides the Park & Ride with good versatility, making it more than a jib board.
  7. SETBACK 0 mm (can be set to 60 mm => powder stance)
The Setback is when the board's compression points with the snow are not symmetrical in relation to the centre of the board, but set back towards the rear. The bindings are also set back towards the rear by the same distance. 0 mm => with no setback, these Twin Tip boards are completely centred for riding forward or switch, offering good balance during spins (in the air or on the groomed slopes).
  8. POWDER STANCE ( = 60 mm setback)
The Park & Ride has a 0 mm setback to ride both ways, but we have added extra inserts with 60 mm setback (HUGE) for powder days. The day before "Powder Alert" days, unscrew your 2 bindings and set them back 60 mm to the "POWDER STANCE" setting, and even with a small board size like the 153 Wide, the snow will rush under your tip for perfect buoyancy.
  9. Technical information
Front width 300 mm / Centre 258 mm / Rear 300 mm (Size 153 Wide) Radius 8.3 153 m Effective edge 1115 mm Number of inserts: 2 x (10 + 2) =24. (4 possible positions with bindings / 20 mm between each position - the last series of inserts is shifted to enable the bindings to be set to POWDER STANCE = 60 mm setback). Recommended stance: 565 mm
  10. Extruded Base/Glide Performance
Extruded base (manufacturing process that is different from sintered bases) Provides a normal glide and good durability over time. Requires regular maintenance: ideally requires waxing every 5 outings and at least once a year: -either at the beginning of the season to start with a very good glide -or at the end of the season to nourish the base in depth and allow the wax to penetrate into the base throughout the summer (ideally with the bindings pointing downwards).
  11. Sold as a pack with Illusion "450" bindings
Illusion 500, but without the Full pad EVA. It has: _ 3D ankle strap + + foam to perfectly join the shoe for perfect support. The foam provides a tight fastening and keeps feet extremely comfortable. _ cap front strap (position on toes only) for unbelievable comfort and support _ Easy TURN STRAP opening system to stop the strap getting in the way when putting shoe on. 153W cm = 41/48. 158W cm = 41/48.
  12. What's the right size Park & Ride for me?
In general, for Freestyle use, use a fairly short board: -20 to -25 cm. (e.g., someone measuring 1m74, can use a board between 154 and 149 cm). _ Allows you to take turns and do tricks more easily_ Provides more stability at great speed and when landing after jumps The Park & Ride is quick to get to grips with. The size of the 158 Wide is perfect for larger builds. 153 cm WIDE (65 - 85 kg) => from 1m70 to 1m80 158 cm WIDE (85 - 110 kg) => from 1m80 to 1m90

  3. Storage advice
Wipe the edges at the end of the day so they don't rust.Waxing is required on a regular basis, ideally every 5 outings. Keep away from sunlight when storing during the summer.
  4. Cleaning advice
For good glide performance, wax your board regularly; every two or three trips is ideal. At the end of the season, leave a coat of unscraped wax to protect the base when not in use. This also nourishes the board throughout the summer as the wax penetrate
