    Product feature
    1. Use temperature:
We label all of our sleeping bags with a "comfort temperature" which is tested by an independent laboratory (AITEX) in accordance with European standard EN 13537 of 11/04/2002. The "comfort temperature" is the lower temperature limit at which the user feels comfortable overall - neither hot nor cold - while lying in a relaxed position (temperature determined for an average woman under normal conditions of use). CHOOSE YOUR SLEEPING BAG ACCORDINGLY
    2. What are the temperature "limits" at which it can be used?
Comfort limit temperature: The minimum temperature at which a user feels comfortable overall - neither hot nor cold - while huddled up in the sleeping bag (as determined for an average male user under normal conditions).
    3. However, here's what you need to know about temperatures:
A sleeping bag does not produce any heat. Rather, it retains the heat produced by the body. If you are tired and cold and you slip inside a cold, damp sleeping bag, you will most likely feel cold no matter how good your bag! These temperatures depend on a person's ability to withstand cold (build, fatigue, etc.), his equipment (insulating mattress, etc.), the way he is dressed (if he is naked, wearing underwear, etc.), and weather conditions (damp, wind, etc.).
    4. Tips for warming up before getting into your sleeping bag:
Don't overdress (1 layer of clothes is enough) Keep your extremities warm: use hats, gloves, socks, bed warmers, rubbing, etc. A flask filled with hot water can be used as a foot or bed warmer (so long as there's no chance of it opening by accident!) Contract your muscles (70% of the energy you consume is transformed into heat) without making movements that could cause a draught.
    5. Maintenance tips
Wash your bag separately from other clothes or delicate colours, use 1/3 of a dose of washing powder, and select a synthetic cycle at 30°C. Stretch the bag out to dry in a dry, well-ventilated place out of the sun and away from heat sources or tumble dry low. Tip: a sleeping bag liner allows you to spread out washes and maintain good thermal performance.
    6. Composition
      Inner fabric: 100% polyester.Outer fabric: 100% polyester.Panel: 100% polyamide. Filling: 100% polyester wadding TS3D 150 g/m².
    7. A score for comparing products' environmental impact
The product's environmental impacts are calculated across its entire life cycle using various indicators. An overall ABCDE score is attributed to help you more readily identify the products with the best environmental performance by comparing the same type of product (T-shirts, trousers, backpacks, etc.) Decathlon is committed to visually displaying environmental information. I got this bag a couple years ago, and have since been fully impressed with it. I got this bag in lieu of the North Face Cat's Meow, for multiple reasons. First this thing is compact, without being too cold this being smaller than a football, while the Cat's Meow was bigger than a basketball. It's weight for a synthetic bag is superb, mine coming in at slightly over two pounds. Also, the price was half of the Cat's Meow. I've taken this bag through the Rocky Mountains in America, and will be taking it on many adventures until it breaks. The only issue I've noticed is the zipper likes to catch the fabric and if the teeth aren't parallel with each other it doesn't like to zip.
      Lightweight, compact, durable

    • Quechua 5°C Light Hiking Sleeping Bag-

Used for 3 to 6 months
Have used this a few times and has a great warmth to weight ratio. First one ripped easily around the collar while synching it up, so I'm hoping the replacement lasts well as I really like this bag. reasonably priced, but maybe a couple of better options out there for the money. I chose this as I believe in the Quechua products and hate to pay much more for expensive labels unless the quality is vastly greater against price... all in all I love this bag.
