(2000 mm PU-coated polyester fly sheet, 120 g/sqm polyethylene groundsheet, all seams sealed using thermobonded tape). A breathable polyester inner tent under the fly sheet means you aren't in contact with the condensation that forms naturally on the inside of the fly sheet.
    9. Sun protection
The flysheet fabric filters out UV rays with an SPF of 30. Please note: a large amount of UV can enter through a single open door.
    10. Wind resistance
We test all of our tents in a wind tunnel with a rotary table to expose each side of the tent to the wind. A properly assembled tent with all the stays in position around the tent should remain habitable under wind speeds measuring 50 km/h at ground level.
    11. A score for comparing products' environmental impact
The product's environmental impacts are calculated across its entire life cycle using various indicators. • Brilliant family tent

Used for 2 to 8 weeks
We bought this tent for a family of 4 and it is perfect. Ample room for 2 adults, 1 child and a toddler in travel cot. It's super quick to pitch and put away (we are quite novice campers so this was very important !) and great value compared to other brands. The "living" area is a great size. Very happy campers.
Easy to use, roomy with good head height.
    • Great tent - poor quality control from Decathlon

      Jonathan (United Kingdom)
Used for 1 week or less
The tent itself is great - easy to put up and strike, and loads of room inside for a family (or 2 people with a lot of stuff and a liking for space). It held up to the rain and wind very well, and on sunny days was quite well ventilated.

I think it would be better if the groundsheet for the living area was sewn in. The bedrooms are sewn in, so at least there was no issue of bugs in the sleeping areas.

My main problem with the tent was that when I put it up for the first time, I noticed that the topmost door zip was broken. It was lodged in place at the 12 o'clock position with an open zip on either side of it. Because of the positioning of the zip, it must have been known to the manufacturer at the time of packing, but they sold it anyway.

Because I didn't notice until I was actually away camping, I was not in a position to return it, so we had to make do. Very disappointed with Decathlon for selling it in that condition though, as my previous tents have always been faultless.
Easy to put up - very spacious.
      Broken main door zip

This was our first tent purchase, nice a easy to put up and take down. Plenty of space inside and lots of head space
Easy to use. Lots of space big rooms
Could do with a zip along bottom of main door
    • The Air seconds 5.2 XL/5 was given a thorough test

      18/07/2016
      Ralph (United Kingdom)
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
The tent was very quick and easy to erect. It was very spacious and took all our equipment including our double airbed. We purchased a carpet for the sleeping area which made it feel just like home. We had no problem deflating the tent, which fitted back in the bag easily. The only negative was that it is quite heavy to lift when packed away.
We were very happy how the tent performed.
      There were no negatives
    • Camping made easy

      13/06/2016
      Matt (United Kingdom)
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Purchased this a couple of weeks ago, and had its first outing at the weekend (June10th). So easy to set up, approx 30 mins from getting it out of the bag to relaxing with a beer. Plenty of room in the large bedroom for a double air bed. Two chairs and a table fit easily in the main section.
Packing the tent away very easy too and again very quick. Just what you need in a down poor.
My only down side to this tent is the porch at the front isn't that big and offers no much shelter, apart from that a great tent and a lot more affordable than most inflatable tents of this size
